WinterCare 1L

WinterCare is a powerful preventive agent used for shutdown and winterization. WinterCare inhibits coatings in the winter and prevents calcium deposits. Add to the pool when closing it down after the season and again approximately two weeks before reopening the pool.

Instructions for use: Lower the water level to below the skimmer level and fit the winter plug in the return pipe. You should not shut down for the winter shutdown until the water reaches around 10° C. Clean the pool thoroughly, adjust the pH value to 7.0-7.4, and shock treat it with chlorine. Dilute WinterCare in water and spread over the surface of the water, using the likes of a plastic watering can.

Dosage: Per 10,000 litres of pool water, depending on the hardness of the water dH: 0 – 6°dH = 400 ml, 7 – 12°dH = 500 ml, 13 – 18°dH = 600 ml, 19-25°dH = 700 ml. In cases of a higher level of hardness = 800 ml. You can find the hardness the water in your area on the website of the water supply company. With very mild winter temperatures it is a good idea to repeat the dosage in January. WinterCare does not prevent ice formation in the pool! Always use a winter cover.

Please note that chlorine consumption can vary depending on water temperature, the frequency and duration of use, and the weather.
