Pool placement can be a difficult decision. There are many things to consider when identifying the perfect pool location.

You should consider the following:

  • The pool should have the maximum amount of direct sunlight.
  • The pool should be sheltered against wind.
  • The pool should not be too close to trees and bushes.
  • It is important that the pool is on a level surface.
  • There should be plenty of free space around the pool, as it is guaranteed that water will be ejected from it.

Temperatures vary significantly between a shaded pool and one placed in direct sunlight. The temperature can vary 2-5 degrees. You should always place your pool to receive the maximum possible amount of direct sunlight.

Also select a place which is sheltered against wind as much as possible. Not only is this more comfortable for your child, the wind will have a cooling effect on the water and will increase surface evaporation.

To avoid things falling into the pool from trees and bushes, it should be placed at a suitable distance from these. This means less time spent cleaning and the water stays fresh for longer.

It is more comfortable to move about in a pool placed on as smooth and level a surface as possible. If the pool is placed on an incline, there is greater risk of children slipping and falling.

If you make sure to have plenty of space around the pool, it will be much easier to place parasols, loungers, wind shields, etc. where they are needed. It also gives room for water games around the paddling pool.

Enjoy the water!
