In spa baths, the pH level can often be challenging to maintain, especially during refilling and heating, when the pH level tends to rise. Low alkalinity can lead to large fluctuations in the pH level, making it difficult to balance the water correctly. Swim & Fun Alka Up raises the alkalinity and helps to stabilise the pH level in the water, making it easier to maintain the desired balance.

Dosage: Add 50 grams of Alka Up to increase alkalinity by 50 mg per 1000 litres of water. Alkalinity can be measured with a test kit or test strips, and it should be between 80-120 mg/l. Add Alka Up if the measured level is below the ideal range.

Instructions: It is recommended to dissolve Alka Up in a clean plastic container with water before adding it. Pour the solution into the spa water while the circulation pump is running, and let it circulate for at least 20 minutes. Measure alkalinity again to ensure it is within the desired range. Also, check that the pH level is between 7.0 and 7.4, preferably at the lower end of the range.

Swim & Fun Alka Up is supplied in a practical plastic container with a childproof lid and detailed instructions in Nordic languages as well as English. Store the product in its original packaging, locked, dry, frost-free, and out of direct sunlight to ensure optimal durability.
