Why Choose Inverter Over Conventional heat pump?
Investing in a Swim & Fun inverter heat pump might feel like a premium choice, but it's one that pays for itself in record time. Here's why:
Economical & Efficient: The "start and stop" method of traditional pumps not only consumes more energy but also accelerates wear and tear. In the long run, our inverter pump is a promise of durability and savings.
Adaptive Technology: Unlike conventional models that simply turn on full blast, our inverter pump uses cutting-edge compressor technology. It smartly adjusts the speed of its compressor and fan, consistently delivering your perfect pool temperature.

Unparalleled Efficiency Awaits You – High COP Value
The Swim & Fun inverter heat pump stands out with its impressive COP value, a crucial indicator of a heat pump's efficiency. While most conventional heat pumps lag behind with a COP near 5, the Swim & Fun inverter heat pump proudly goes beyond 16.
For every 1 kWh of electricity it consumes, the heat pump rewards you with a staggering 16 kWh of soothing heat energy. After start-up, you only pay for 20% or less of energy consumption, 80% of energy comes directly from the air. That's not just about performance—it's a commitment to sustainability and giving you more value for every kilowatt. Experience the true benchmark in energy efficiency and eco-conscious performance.

Embrace the Serenity of Superior Performance – A Quiet Heat Pump
Imagine a pool experience undisturbed by the disruptive noise of a conventional heat pump. The inverter heat pump is crafted for silence, working seamlessly in the background. How to find the right heat pump?
It is necessary to understand that the heat capacity and the performance of the pump depend on the climate you live in. Areas with cold climates have a shorter swimming pool season. Therefore, hot pool water in the north requires heat pumps with higher capacity than in medium to warmer climates.
The illustration is an approximate estimate of the climate differences, and thus an indication of what type of heat pump you should consider buying to get the right performance. For optimal performance, we always recommend choosing a larger heat pump capacity if the maximum performance of the heat pump matches the size of your pool. If the heat pump’s capacity is overloaded, it can result in lower energy savings, increased noise levels, slower heating, and increased wear and tear on the heat pump. The heat pump can operate down to -7 degrees if it has been in use and maintained the water temperature during the bathing season. We do not recommend turning on the heat pump outside the bathing season as a single source of heating. (See illustration)

Use of the Heat Pump in the Coldest Months of the Year
The specified capacity of the heat pump is calculated for the season from April to October. This capacity assumes that the pool is completely insulated, covered, protected from wind, and exposed to sunlight.
Heat pumps for swimming pools extract thermal energy from the air and transfer this energy to the pool water. Unlike an electric water heater, a heat pump depends on the presence of sufficient heat in the air to maintain a constant level of warmth.

The efficiency of the heat pump decreases in colder months, as there is less thermal energy available in the surrounding air. This means that the heat pump has to work harder and longer to extract the necessary heat, resulting in lower performance, especially when the air temperature drops below 6-8 °C.

Moreover, the natural heat loss of the pool water increases significantly at lower temperatures, requiring additional heat supply to maintain the desired water temperature.

If you want to use your heat pump to heat pool water in the coldest months, it may be that the pump cannot maintain the desired water temperature. In such cases, it is recommended to supplement with a thermostat-controlled electric water heater, which can provide additional heat regardless of the air temperature.

General features of heat pumps
After start-up, you only pay for 20% or less of energy consumption
A heat pump is green energy because it ‘pulls’ energy out of the air and transfers it to the pool water. The amount of energy required to run the heat pump is minimal compared to how much it returns in the form of heat. A traditional heat pump typically provides between 4 and 7 kW returns for every 1 kW you pay for. An Inverter heat pump, depending on the model and environmental impact, can reach up to 13.6 kW for each paid 1 kW.
You get an extra long bathing season
At the same time, a heat pump lengthens the bathing season by several months.
 The advantage of Inverter technology
A traditional heat pump stops running when the desired temperature has been reached and starts again when the temperature drops 1-2 degrees. An inverter heat pump, on the other hand, has a dynamic compressor which continuously regulates the temperature.
This means that the energy loss through start/stop is eliminated. Depending on the model and environmental impact, our Inverter heat pump provides up to 13.6 times more energy than it consumes (COP = 13.6), whereas a regular heat pump typically returns 5 times more energy (COP = 5).
